Skiing / Snowboarding:
13 kms north of Manali stretch vast open spaces and some of the finest ski slopes in the state. Surrounding this fine ski area are majestic snow clad mountains their lower slopes carpeted with stately Pine, Fir and Deodar trees. In this serene white wonderland, Snow Peak Vacation organizes ski packages for both the novice and the expert. All packages are economical and conducted by expert, professionally trained skiers and other supporting staff. In summer you can still ski further north where the 13,050 ft high Rohtang Pass straddles the Pir Panjal mountain ranges.

White Water Rafting:
White water rafting is all about paddling a raft on river rapids. This is an exciting sport for those who are adventurously inclined and reasonably fit. There's nothing more exciting that the thrill of rafting the rapids on a foaming mountain river. Our associates have hi-quality rafts and experienced trained captain and crew whose prime concern is your safety at all times while instructing you into the finer aspects of river running. Snow Peak Vacation in association with experts offer rafting trips down the Rivers' Beas, Sutlej, Ganga and the Zanskar. We can organize daily trips or longer expeditions down these mighty rivers.

Half Stretch ( 5 - 7 kms ): Rs 550 per person
Full Stretch (12 - 14 kms ): Rs 750 per person

Paragliding:
The Paraglider is basically a parachute wing, has no frame and is almost elliptical. The ride includes tandem joy rides in a twin seater glider for amateurs. The Western Himalayas have numerous sites for exciting paragliding opportunities. Two excellent sites nearby offer great opportunities for paragliding. Hallan lies 21Kms south of Manali and Solang valley, 13 Kms north. Both these places afford panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding mountains and have excellent take off points. Here expert instructors initiate enthusiasts into the finer aspects of paragliding using the latest imported Para gliders. Rock Climbing & Rappelling:
Climbing is the sport of scaling rocks, using special equipments. While rappelling would involve coming down from a cliff with the help of ropes & carabineers. The surrounding hillsides in Manali offer numerous rock faces for exciting rock climbing. Rocks with Steep inclines exist both north and south of the town, and all are easily accessible.
